    Grimm's Rainbow Ball

Shake, rattle and roll with this colourful rainbow ball. This is a perfect first ball for baby: it's soft and bright, and makes a little tinkle when you shake it. This ball is a great way to get babies moving: tiny babies will love to clutch and shake it, crawlers will move towards it, and toddlers will delight in kicking, catching and throwing it.

This ball is made from Oeko-Tex Standard 100 fabrics so it's perfectly safe for little ones to enjoy. If it gets grubby, gently clean using hand wash.

This ball is 7cm in diameter and is suitable from birth.

Please note: due to distribution restrictions we cannot send Grimm's toys to addresses outside of the UK and Ireland.

Featuring toys to shake, build or pull along, Babi Pur’s range of Grimm’s Waldorf-inspired toys has something for every child to fall in love with. The quality of these toys is superb and their appeal is timeless – we’re sure that they will be treasured not only by your children but by your grandchildren too.

Grimm’s Toys are inspired by the Waldorf Steiner education movement which advocates learning through thoughtful, creative play at an unhurried pace. Toys play an important part of the learning experience and Waldorf toys are made with natural materials, beautiful and simplistic – the lack of details allow children to fill in the blanks with their imaginations. They can be used in multiple ways in creative play scenarios, rather than being prescriptive. Waldorf toys are wonderfully tactile and call on children to play with them.

Grimm’s educational wooden toys are made in Europe from alder, lime, beech and maple, all sourced from sustainably managed European forests. They are made in handpicked workshops across Europe and coated with natural colours and oils by the Grimm’s team in Germany. All of the paints and lacquer used to finish your lovingly made Grimm’s toy are harmless and enhance the natural beauty of the wood, allowing the grain to shine through.

First and still favourite ball

I purchased this for my nephew when he was 6 months old, and this was his first ball. Over 2.5 years later, and this still remains a firm favourite. This has so many uses, and ideal for the car, due to it being soft.

Smaller than expected but still good

I had a ball like this when I was little and the child in me wanted Aiden to have one too. Didn't look at dimensions or reviews beforehand so was surprised by size on arrival. Still happy with my purchase though. I'm sure the smaller size will be easier for Aiden to hold on to at his age.

Underwhelming ball

I bought this based on the other reviews. I love Grimm’s products due to the company’s ethos etc. However in this instance, I am unimpressed. The ball is fractional bigger than a tennis ball with the faintest of rattles inside. I have seen similar in our local toy shop for less than a fifth of the price: I wish I’d id spent my money on a wooden Grimm’s toy instead and bought a ball from there.

Perfect first ball

I’ll admit that I didn’t look at the dimensions when I ordered so it was a bit smaller than I expected but this is a good thing! It is the perfect size for my 5 month old to hold by himself and he loves looking at the gorgeous colours. It has kept him happy during tummy time too as he follows it around as it rolls. I can see us using it for lots of different games as he grows.

So cute

This rainbow ball is adorable. It's smaller than I thought which I was actually really pleased about as my 3 month old can grasp it easily. It's makes a little jingle when shaken, great for tummy time. Even my 3 year old enjoys rolling it to her. Would make a perfect stocking filler due to the size
