Planet Wise Medium Wet Bag

I chose this bag specifically for swimming lessons, and it's been fab for holding the soaking wet swimwear. It is definitely leakproof, and I often end up with a puddle of water held securely in the bottom by the time we get home. I hadn't used a wet bag with 2 layers before, and it took some adjustment to the outside being fabric which took on water easily, so needing to ensure it's not put down a wet surface while in the changing rooms. This isn't helped by the lack of a strap, which is the main reason for 4 stars - it would make the bag so much more practical if it had a strap.

Originally brought for putting our wet things in after swimming but we rarely go now. Now is used to take out to put dirty and wet clothes in as we are potty training, bag was much bigger then expected but i am happy with the size with what we use it for.

I bought two of these one for each of our bathrooms to store used pads before washing. Bright and colourful. Does the job required well. Easy machine washable!

This is the first wet bag I’ve bought, so maybe my expectations were unrealistic, and I have nothing to compare this bag to. But I was a bit disappointed. It says it locks in smell - I think this is important, no one wants a house smelling of dirty nappies. But I’m washing nappies every other day, and by the end of one day the closed bag definitely has a strong wee smell, and by the second day the smell hit me as soon as I walked into my som’s Bedroom, and the shelf it sits on had started to absorb the smell too. So certainly not locking in smell. Also slightly annoying that it can only be washed at 40c - the nappies get a 60c pre wash, so I have to empty the nappies out and then keep the smelly bag to one side until I do a 40c main wash.

But... the fabric is very pretty, it’s easy to use, and would probably be fine if just used as a wet bag while out and about.

Firstly, this bag is ace. It keeps smells and wetness in but the double layer design means it still has a nice cotton exterior. Planet wise bags are by far the nicest wetbags I've used (we have a grovia one and a bumgenius one too).

There are two changes I would make though so do think about wether these are important to you:
-> There's no loop to hang it on a buggy or a hook in the bathroom
-> The fabric (jelly jubilee) is stunning but after a couple of months of use is very faded now and doesn't match the wipe bag that gets washed less.
