Violets Magic Laundry Powder

We have been using Violets washing powder for around 3 years. My husband couldn’t stand the strong smell of supermarket laundry detergent and he’d complain every time he opened the cupboard in the utility room. We decided to make the change to Violets, it’s got a subtle, more natural and fresh smell. We love how long it lasts as it’s very concentrated. We use 1 tablespoon per wash, and a 5 kg tub lasts my family of 6 up to 11 months. In the long run this is cheaper than buying from the supermarket and better for the environment. I usually refill a 1kg tub of Violets for keeping in the utility room and keep the 5 kg in the garage. I love that my washing powder takes hardly any space and only needs topping up a handful of times per year. Our garage is quite damp, however the tubs seal very well and our washing powder has never become damp. I love that I can buy my laundry powder from an ethical small business and enjoy the fact that I get discount on it with the loyalty discount.

This is by far my most favorite laundry powder that I've used and I've repurchased multiple times! Lasts ages as you only need a cap full, so gentle on my eczema prone skin as there's no nasties in there and it leaves the clothes smelling amazing and clean!

I Use with cloth nappies and general clothes. No scent and no nasties. Cleans well.

Have been using this powder reliably for a year. No issues with stinks / smells in cloth nappies. Also use is successfully with reusable period products. Will buy again!

We love this laundry detergent in our house, great to know we are using something gentle without nasty chemicals for our girls clothes. Subtle nice smell too.
