Fabulous Fifi, The Flamenco Flamingo by Alice Corrie

When Fifi tries to dance in front of the other flamingos, her flappy, flippy-floppy legs fail and they all fall about laughing at her. As she sets off on her quest to find her calling, she discovers the Flamenco Fiesta. Find out whether Fifi fulfils her dream to become a famous FLAMENCO FLAMINGO in this fabulous debut picture book.

Fabulous Fifi, the Flamenco Flamingo is a tongue twisting, read-aloud debut from author Alice Corrie, about a small flamingo, a big dream, a decent dose of determination and a lot of FABULOUSNESS! We love the colourful and playful illustrations from Turkish artist Ipek Konak. This funny story of Fifi the Flamenco loving flamingo is a celebration of fabulousness, as well as the vibrance of hispanic and latino culture.

    Written by Alice Corrie.

    Illustrated by Ipek Konak.

Fabulous Fifi is Fantastic!

Purchased as a gift for a little girl along with the Lanka Kade Flamingo, they go together perfectly.

This book is such a fun read, the tongue twisters help to hold the attention of little ones. Fun and bright illustration with a message to encourage everyone to follow their dreams.

Loved it!

My nearly 3 year old absolutely loved this book! The illustrations are bright and beautiful and he loved picking out and talking about different things in the pictures. The story really brings home that idea of never giving up on your dreams no matter how much other people think you're no good!

Fabulous, fantastic, frolicking tale

We were kindly gifted Fabulous Fifi to read for book club and me and my 2 year old have thoroughly enjoyed it. The illustrations are bright and beautiful to hold her attention and the alliteration and repetition were fun to read and for her to listen to. The story gives hope to those who follow their dreams and it's a lovely lesson in continuing trying even if something doesn't come easily and people don't see your talents right away.

Fantastic flamingo

A beautiful book with delightful illustrations. A really positive book about Fifi the Flamingo, which had my 4 year old desperate to know what she was going to do next. Also great for early ready skills as a lot of the letters and words are repeated.

A fantastic book!

Fifi is indeed one fabulous Flamingo!
This book has such a feel good factor to it when reading you can't help but smile.

There's a beautiful message behind the story about following your dreams even when others don't believe in you. Something I tell my daughter all the time.

The illustrations are beautiful and really do bring the story to life for all ages.
Eli (2) was able to follow the story happily without being able to read.
Evie (4) is currently working on her initial sounds learning to read so this has been fun for her to explore with the tongue twisters.
