A Story About Afiya Children's Book by James Berry
Immerse yourself in this joyous celebration of childhood wonder and imagination. Written by the late Jamaican poet James Berry, A Story About Afiya captures the magic of childhood through its beautiful language and illustrations. People often have many dresses, but Afiya only needs one. She wears only one outfit, an enchanting white dress that enhances the beauty of her ‘fine black skin’, summer clothes that she wears and washes every night.
But this is no ordinary dress, each day the dress collects an imprint of the wonders she passes along the way, from sunflowers to butterflies, and fish to falling leaves. Each day the dress is a joyful celebration of childhood, by morning the outfit is white again, ready to start fresh making more magnificent memories.

Here at Babipur we aim to despatch your orders quickly using Royal Mail, Parcelforce, GLS and other couriers. We pack orders Monday to Saturday, if you need an express delivery option we recommend ordering before 1pm for next working day delivery. Tracking details will be sent to you by email or text.
Returns
If something isn't as expected, doesn't fit, or it's simply not right for you, just return it to us within 60 days of delivery for a no quibble refund. We do ask that items are returned in unused condition if you've simply changed your mind. If you have a faulty or damaged item please get in touch, return it to us for a refund or replacement and we'll cover the return costs.
