Grimm's Pink Lavender Girl

This hand-crafted Waldorf doll has a dusky pink gown, sweet lavender scent and two long blonde plaits. This soft, organic cotton doll is filled with soft sand and lavender, enabling her to stand on her own and be wonderfully tactile. She is perfect for small hands and appeals to many senses. This doll's face has been painted by hand in the Waldorf tradition with minimal features, enabling children to decide whether or not she is happy or sad, asleep or awake. This lovely doll will encourage imaginative play in young children as they construct a play world for her doll to live in. Steiner educators will love these Waldorf dolls - they're beautiful and simple and encourage creativity.

This doll is completely eco, made only from Oeko-Tex Standard 100 fabrics and non-toxic, water-based paints so it's perfectly safe for little ones to enjoy. If it gets grubby, gently clean using hand wash. While the colours of the face are water-resistant, they can fade. This doll also comes in pink and will fit in perfectly in a playroom filled with beautifully natural Grimm's Toys.

This doll is 14cm tall and is suitable from birth.

Really cute but quite small

I bought this as a present for a friends little girl, so have not seen it played with (or been able to smell the lavender - it comes in plastic packaging), but still thought it was very cute. It has lovely colours and the details, such as the bows, are sweet. I could tell it was well made too. It is quite small though, I did realise it would be small but even when I read the measurements before buying I didn't fully appreciate quite how small it is. I would have preferred it to be bigger. My friend isn't very familiar with Grimms, I have a feeling she thinks it's a cheap gift as it's so small! It would be a good size for a typical dolls house though, and given how it's made, the price is somewhat understandable. This is one for Grimms lovers rather than a gift idea for someone not familiar with Grimms, in my view.

Beautiful!

Such a lovely and simple little toy. She's about 14cm tall and perfect hand holding size. We've now had for a couple of months and she still looks brand new, and the scent is still going strong. Would make an excellent first dolly for a young baby due to her perfect size and is a great open ended toy for older babies and toddlers. I think she will really come into her own for creative play once my 10 month old gets older, but right now she's just nice to cuddle.

Returns

If something isn't as expected, doesn't fit, or it's simply not right for you, just return it to us within 60 days of delivery for a no quibble refund. We do ask that items are returned in unused condition if you've simply changed your mind. If you have a faulty or damaged item please get in touch, return it to us for a refund or replacement and we'll cover the return costs.
