    Grimm's Small Houses

Young architects will love creating villages with this gorgeous set of 15 painted houses. The houses come in a variety of shapes, sizes and colours and sit on a board when not being played with. These houses will be loved by children engaged in creative play and will make a fabulous addition to any wooden railway set, or wonderful homes for peg dolls. They can even be stacked one on top of the other to make a colourful tower.

This charming little houses, each a different shade of the rainbow, have been carved from lime wood and naturally stained using non-toxic, water-based colour. This natural finish allows the grain of the wood to shine through and ensures that these house blocks are safe for young children.

Young children will enjoy stacking, sorting and arranging this set of houses for years to come, and they will brighten up any mantelpiece when they are eventually outgrown, before being enjoyed again by the next generation.

The houses sit on a tray measuring 22 x 22cm. The houses are 8cm tall. This set is suitable from 12 months.

Wonderful addition to out collection

These are, as with all grimms items, just beautiful and very well made. They work great with our other grimms building sets, and are a popular addition to train tracks and small world play. I particularly liie how easy thegly are for my 2 year old to handle. Highly recommend.

Love these!

My son loves these little houses - they are great for making littles towns out of alongside his train track and are also fun to stack

So many uses

These are one of my favourite toys as there are so many used for it. in the beginning my daughter enjoyed stacking them. However now she's getting into open ended play she uses them to add details to roads or pretends her dolls live in them.

(Picture attached of the morning they arrived, we were on our way out but ended up being delayed as she was enjoying playing so much)

Love it

This is such a lovely size (which is not too small nor too big) beautiful and bright colours as always. These have a good weight to it too and a great addition to small world play too

Love these!

I hesitated to buy these initially as I thought maybe I wanted them for me more than for the children!
They are used often to make towns with our Nins and waytoplay. My 5 year old builds with them and they also act as a puzzle - figuring out how to fit them all back together on the tray.
Given the amount of wood and the weight they are also pretty good value for money!

Grimm's Toys

Featuring toys to shake, build or pull along, Babi Pur’s range of Grimm’s Waldorf-inspired toys has something for every child to fall in love with. The quality of these toys is superb and their appeal is timeless – we’re sure that they will be treasured not only by your children but by your grandchildren too. Grimm’s Toys are inspired by the Waldorf Steiner education movement which advocates learning through thoughtful, creative play at an unhurried pace. Toys play an important part of the learning experience and Waldorf toys are made with natural materials, beautiful and simplistic – the lack of details allow children to fill in the blanks with their imaginations. They can be used in multiple ways in creative play scenarios, rather than being prescriptive. Waldorf toys are wonderfully tactile and call on children to play with them.
