The origins of the Pikler triangle climbing frame come from Emmi Pikler a Hungarian Paediatrician who pioneered theories on child development in the 1930/40s. Centered around a respectful relationship between infant and parent as well as natural progression of motor development through free movement and play. Emmi Pikler believed it was important to offer children the opportunities to move naturally according to their inherent ability.

Worth the price tag

I umm'ed and ahh'ed about purchasing a triclimb for a little while but I'm so glad I bought it. I got it for my son when he was 8 month old as an early birthday present, he loves to crawl underneath it and throw balls through it, he's climbed the first rung and loves to play King of the Castle by sitting on the top (supported of course!). I have no doubt that it has increased his confidence in pulling himself up to standing. A great purchase and looking forward to many more years to come playing on it - my 6 yr old nephew loves it too!

Little climber

We’ve had this for 4 months now after buying it for my little boys 1st birthday.
It’s well made, easy store and looks lovely.
My little boy loved using it as a walker and pushing it around the floor, it’s also been used as a tunnel, hiding place, slope to roll balls down amongst other things.
It’s taken my little boy a while to build up the confidence to climb it, but now he loves exploring the rungs and how he can climb and balance in it.
I’m sure it will be a firm favourite for years to come!

Beautiful high quality product

So happy to finally own one of these! After seeing so many rave reviews, once I decided I wanted a piklar triangle for the kids I knew it had to be a triclimb and it does not disappoint! The high weight capacity means all the kids can play on it and they have been having fun working out different things they can do with it. My 4yo is especially enjoying it as he is a very active child but the baby loves to crawl under it and uses it to pull himself up, and the 7yo has fun with it too, especially when paired with the Miri. Very glad I got the half rainbow version as I'm all about bright fun colours, but when we add the Miri to the natural side I'm not panicking about the paint getting damaged. I was initially apprehensive about having to build it but once I figured out how an Alan key works

Great fun

My one year old loves her triclimb, it's helping build her confidence with climbing and I think the more her climbing improves the more fun she'll have with it. It also looks really beautiful - rather than a bulky toy that takes up room, it's actually really neat and easy to fold away when not in use. Definitely recommend!

Favourite purchase

I love the Triclimb. I got it a few months ago when my kids were 8 months and almost 2.5 years. They both love it, it tires them out and you can see the progress they are both making with their skills on it. My favourite part about it is that it can be folded every night and put away out of site. I cant think of any other larger toys that can be stored so easily. We went for the single rainbow as we will use the miri on the natural side. If you're considering getting one it's 100% worth it!

Triclimb - Pikler Triangle

Peter and Jolene were always getting asked when they were going to stock a Pikler style climbing frame, and so after searching high and low and not finding one that met their standards, they started the journey to find a designer who could bring a modern version of the Pikler triangle to life.

Endless Possibilities

Endless Possibilities

A classic climbing triangle with a modern twist. Its primary function is to aid climbing and encourage movement in young children but Triclimb is so much more than that. Triclimb features a wonderfully simple but Innovative design which gives it a graphical purity both when poised and ready for play or when folded for storage. An open ended developmental toy that’s not just for climbing, simultaneously encouraging play, movement and expression.
