Eye catching patterns

These painted wooden animals are more hard wearing than say Lanka kade as the paint doesn’t scratch or chip with play in the same way. They have been a favourite of my youngest for a long time as he used to stare at them when he was very little - I assume captured by the contrasting print.
The only thing we have noticed having had these in heavy use for 2 plus years is that the black transfer on top of the paint has faded slightly.
Overall a lovely and unusual toy animal for the playroom. Would recommended

A Brief Bajo Story

A Brief Bajo Story

Established in the tiny village of Kamionna in Poland, at the foot of the mountain bearing the same name, Bajo were making toys at the break of the '90s when the free market was virtually non-existent in Poland. Bajo produce toys that can be made without the need for specialised skills, in order to employ elderly and disabled individuals, as well as people who find it difficult to compete for work. The toys they make carry notion of solidarity in themselves. In the design process they always focus on the possibilities of reaching out to new people.
