GroVia Organic Soakers 2 Pack

We washed these at 50oC, line dried them, and only used delicate washing fluid. Never bleached them. After about 60 washes they started to fall apart and by 80 washes they were unusable. We bought half the cotton (these ones) and have the polyester/fleece ones when our boy was born. The fleece ones are still going strong, but these ones are just shredded/destroyed despite our best efforts to treat them gently.

When I contacted Grovia, they said that buying 20 sets of soakers wasn't enough despite the fact we only use them during the daytimes. They told me that if i'd bought twice as many, they would have lasted twice as long. Seriously....

Anyways, if you have to go with Grovia, stay away from these inserts. They fall apart way too quickly, and as others have written, they really take forever to dry.

Though the soakers initially worked very well in terms of absorbency the natural fibers kind of degraded over time and I ended up with a lot of shredding in the soakers. I prefer the other Grovia combos as a result.

These are my new favourite 2 part nappies. They are really well made, super soft, very absorbant and not too bulky. So simple to use, these inserts just popper in. They don't get wee on the cover as have waterproof baking are well made and open up for drying which is clever but they do still take a lot of drying, a couple of days on the line. No where near as slow as the microfibre ones though which take about 3 days to dry!

Fantastic that they pop into the hybrids to stay in place.
Great for soaking up.
Perfect fit for my slim baby and much better than pocket nappies fit.

But long drying time! Have to dry one way then turn inside out and dry that way. So good to have a big stash!

These are the only grovia soakers I trust! We never get any leaks from these inserts when combined with the grovia shells. I'm always amazed how such slim soakers can hold so much pee! As other reviewers have mentioned, these do take a while to dry, but can be tumble dried on low to speed things up.
