The Weleda Hypercal Wound Salve is a great addition to your natural First Aid Kit. Suitable for minor wounds, cuts, grazes, and minor burns this soft salve includes organic Hypericum extract (St Johns Wort) traditionally used for its wound-healing properties.

Keep in your first aid kit for those minor emergencies; grazed knees, bumps, mild burns and small painful cuts. This soothing salve will help heal minor wounds naturally, with the naturally anti-inflammatory and healing properties of Calendula and St Johns Wort. Weleda Hypercal Wound Salve is a traditional herbal medicinal product that is gentle and safe for family use.

How to use: Read the enclosed leaflet before use. For application to the skin only. Wash hands before and after use. Adults, the elderly and children over 12 years of age: Clean the affected area and apply to the affected area directly or on a dry dressing two to three times daily.

Do not use:

• Do not use in children under 12 years of age.
• Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
• Do not use if you are allergic to Calendula officinalis, or to other plants of the Asteraceae (Compositae) family or to any of the other ingredients.
  
  

Warnings and precautions:

• If symptoms worsen or persist after 1 week, consult your doctor or qualified healthcare practitioner.
• If signs of skin infection are observed, consult a doctor or qualified healthcare practitioner.
• Discontinue use if redness, irritation or dry skin occurs.
• Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes.
• Contains lanolin (wool fat) which may cause local skin reactions.
• For external use only.
• Do not store above 25°C.
• Store in the original container.
• Do not use after the expiry date stated on the carton.
• Keep all medicines out of the sight and reach of children.

Ingredients: 1g of ointment contains: 0.10 ml of tincture from Calendula officinalis L., herba (Calendula herb) (equivalent to 50 mg of Calendula herb) and 0.15ml of tincture from Hypericum perforatum L., herba (St John’s Wort herb) (equivalent to 50 mg of St John’s Wort herb).

Extraction solvent for both tinctures: Ethanol 86 % w/w.

Other ingredients are Wool Fat (Lanolin), Sunflower Oil, Olive Oil, Yellow

Beeswax, Ethanol and Purified Water.
