Each verse is accompanied by detailed artwork from this world-renowned Swedish author-illustrator including plants and rural life, joyful children and magical small folk. Month by month, Elsa's characteristic seasonal illustrations decorate each page, from icy February days to the green shoots of April, red poppies of July, rosy apples in September and the festive delights of December.
Around The Year is a collectable picture book faithfully reproducing Elsa's classic illustrations. First printed in 1927, this new edition features a unique hand-crafted design, premium-quality paper, gold foil signature and a luxurious cloth spine.
About the Author
Elsa Beskow is Sweden's best-loved children's book illustrator, transporting her young readers back to an idyllic rural Sweden at the turn of the 20th century. Swedish children have grown up with her magical stories for over 100 years, and these classics have been translated into many languages. Inspired by her life and surroundings, Elsa's illustrations feature characters modelled on her sons, and her wonderful drawings of plants and flowers inspired by her wild garden just outside of Stockholm. Combining fantasy and reality, Elsa's picture books capture the magic of childhood, with talking animals and elves intertwined with the natural world.

Here at Babipur we aim to despatch your orders quickly using Royal Mail, Parcelforce, GLS and other couriers. We pack orders Monday to Saturday, if you need an express delivery option we recommend ordering before 1pm for next working day delivery. Tracking details will be sent to you by email or text.
Returns
If something isn't as expected, doesn't fit, or it's simply not right for you, just return it to us within 60 days of delivery for a no quibble refund. We do ask that items are returned in unused condition if you've simply changed your mind. If you have a faulty or damaged item please get in touch, return it to us for a refund or replacement and we'll cover the return costs.
