Miri fun

Can't wait to use these at Christmas. We've been trying to fill the gaps with allsorts of different things for climbing and using the miri as a ball run or car run so hoping these will do a better job.

Brought the plain wood and I’m glad I did as they aren’t used very much at all. The sticks have actually been used much more in free play and building than they have in the Miri. Currently Miri is only ever wanted the smooth side and the couple of times I’ve tried to use these during play with the Miri it’s been for a short time. They don’t stay in like I was expecting and can easily be flung out by the baby. Also the Miri board has to be very low for it to be used as a ball run. Quite expensive for what they are considering they don’t have that much play value.

Triclimb - Pikler Triangle

Peter and Jolene were always getting asked when they were going to stock a Pikler style climbing frame, and so after searching high and low and not finding one that met their standards, they started the journey to find a designer who could bring a modern version of the Pikler triangle to life. The origins of the Pikler triangle climbing frame come from Emmi Pikler a Hungarian Paediatrician who pioneered theories on child development in the 1930/40s. Centered around a respectful relationship between infant and parent as well as natural progression of motor development through free movement and play. Emmi Pikler believed it was important to offer children the opportunities to move naturally according to their inherent ability.

Endless Possibilities

Endless Possibilities

A classic climbing triangle with a modern twist. Its primary function is to aid climbing and encourage movement in young children but Triclimb is so much more than that. Triclimb features a wonderfully simple but Innovative design which gives it a graphical purity both when poised and ready for play or when folded for storage. An open ended developmental toy that’s not just for climbing, simultaneously encouraging play, movement and expression.
