    Bajo Natural Snail Sort Roller

A pull along snail, a noisy clattering rolling toy and a traditional shape sorter all rolled into one! The Bajo Snail Sort Roller is an ingenious design that offers multiple play possibilities as babies grow and learn.

Made from solid natural hardwood it includes a wheeled wooden base with a colourful checkerboard pattern, a cylinder cage shell with shape slots in both ends and 6 different wooden shapes.

Pull along this friendly wooden snail toy by the cord at the front and watch as the shell rotates and the shapes rattle inside. This versatile baby toy can be played with in so many ways - stacking the chunky wooden shapes, rolling the cylinder across the floor, pulling along the wheeled base, and together the cylinder and base make a satisfying clacking noise as it spins. A beautifully made, durable and robust design that will last, and be enjoyed by siblings and future generations.

Wooden shape sorters are a traditional toy for babies and toddlers, encouraging fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination and dexterity. The 6 shapes will support early years colour and shape recognition. Suitable from 12 months, the Bajo Snail Sort Roller would make a perfect gift for a first birthday or Christmas.

    This toy measures 22cm x 16cm x 18cm.

    Suitable from 12 months+.

Sensory play: hand-eye coordination, problem-solving, fine and gross motor skills. Colour and shape recognition.

Schematic play: positioning, orientation, rotation, transporting.

Bajo's beautiful wooden toys have been designed and manufactured in Poland over the last 25 years. These top notch toys are wonderfully tactile and will inspire imaginative play and learning. The manufacturing process is green from start to finish - sustainable wood from beech, birch, sycamore, acacia, cherry, walnut and plum trees is sourced from carefully managed forests in Poland. Skilled crafters transform the wood into toys that are treated with eco, non-toxic paints and oils, and waste wood is turned into fuel briquettes. Bajo toys are great for open-ended play and will be treasured by children for years before being passed on to new generations to be enjoyed all over again.

Beautiful toy

This is so under rated! Brilliant quality- it feels like a premium product. Various ways to play and easily doubles as 2 toys in 1.

So many uses!

Our little one loves this even though she is not really old enough to use it as a shape sorter. She loves to pull it along, play with the shapes (which stack very well), empty the shell of shapes, take the shell off and use as a drum, roll the shell back and forth with you and turn the snail over to spin the wheels. It is beautifully made and will be enjoyed for a long time. No regrets!

Fab toy!

This is such a beautiful toy! My daughter had it for Christmas and it can be used in a few different ways. The roller can be taken out to use as a shape sorter, or to roll along the floor and it makes a lovely clacking sound. Or you can put the roller back on the snail and pull it along, again making a lovely clacking noise. My 4 month old enjoys watching us play with this and the noises it makes and will have fun learning to play with it herself. My 4 year old has also been enjoying playing with this.

A Brief Bajo Story

A Brief Bajo Story

Established in the tiny village of Kamionna in Poland, at the foot of the mountain bearing the same name, Bajo were making toys at the break of the '90s when the free market was virtually non-existent in Poland. Bajo produce toys that can be made without the need for specialised skills, in order to employ elderly and disabled individuals, as well as people who find it difficult to compete for work. The toys they make carry notion of solidarity in themselves. In the design process they always focus on the possibilities of reaching out to new people.
