Plan Toys Build-A-Robot Toy

This fun Plan Toys wooden robot has 4 heads to choose from each with it's own character and emotion. With bendy arms and screw in legs, there are lots of play options with this sustainable wooden toy.

How are you feeling today? Choose a robot head to suit your mood - happy, angry, surprised or sad. One of the heads has a squeaky button on top too. Swap the heads over and the legs, which have big screw threads so the robot can stand up or sit down by screwing them into different holes. We love the way this robot comes apart in a simple way that younger children will love. Take it apart, re-build and swap the heads over. A Plan Toys classic which is perfect for helping children identify and express their emotions.

Ethically made from sustainable Plan Wood and using non-toxic water-based dyes, this is a classic eco toy that will look fab in any playroom and makes a great present for preschool children.

Huge hit!

My two year always loved pointing at a robot picture in his book, then I came across this toy. Honestly I was a bit sceptical whether or not it would be worth the money, but it is a huge hit with both my twins! The head stays on well enough to be played with, but equally comes out easily enough that my twins can just about manage to swap the heads on their own. Its also been a great way of talking about emotions with them, and they love matching the robot head to characters emotions in their books.

Lovely emotions and imaginative play item

My little person loves this robot set. It's great for motor skills; changing heads, moving arms and taking legs off and on (screw action). We also talk about the emotions of the different faces and match to drawing / flashcards and make play dough versions. Just such a lovely item.

Great quality wooden toy

This robot is great addition to any toy collection. It’s is such great quality which you would expect from plan toys and lovely to move and handle. The fact that you can change the heads of the robot to different emotions is a great tool to help open conversations with small people about their emotions and reactions to things. This feature was one of the reason I was drawn to this toy. This is Christmas present so has not yet been seen my my little boy but I know he is going to love it. Thank you so much

Great toy

This is a great robot, my 3 year old is able to swap the heads and legs himself. Bought it to help talk about emotions which we're still struggling with as he tends to throw the heads when he's angry but we're getting there with sad and happy!!

Lovely little robot

We all love this little guy, my 3 year old hasn’t left him alone (I say ‘him’ as my little one has named it Bertie).
It’s a fabulous toy which really comes to life and it’s a fabulous learning tool for emotions.
The only thing I wished it had was a holder to slot the other heads in whilst not in use.
Great toy and very loved.

If something isn't as expected, doesn't fit, or it's simply not right for you, just return it to us within 60 days of delivery for a no quibble refund. We do ask that items are returned in unused condition if you've simply changed your mind.
