Speelbelovend Giant Pegs x4

These were a bit of a random add on to make up an order total for us! And we’ve been so pleasantly surprised by how much use they get. Super intuitive and easy for little hands, they’ve take den building to another level. Such a great product!

Great for holding our cloths and decorating the playstand - my daughter likes to use them as ‘picker uppers’ #OpenEndedPlay!

I bought these for my 5yr old and 3yr old. I bought two packs so they’d have a few more for den building because my 5 yr old likes to build quite elaborate dens using every blanket he can get his hands on! The pegs are nice and easy for little hands to use, but still create a firm enough grip. They are used in all sorts of other ways too. My little ones like to pretend to arrest each other and use them as hand cuffs as part of their pretend play. My youngest likes me to put a piece of string up across the room and then he uses them as clothes pegs to hang up his ‘laundry’. Both children enjoy using them to pick up various things from Grapat Happy Eggs to Bumbu dinosaurs for transporting these things around or to ‘capture’ them. The pegs are used as tweezers for pretend science experiments and my children even enjoy just taking them apart and putting them back together. The 5yr old likes to put as many of the elastic bands as he can onto one peg seeing how many he can put on and still operate the peg (the more bands you add the trickier it gets). The pegs are also used by my older children to keep their sheet music in place when practising if they’ve got a lot on their music stand.

Wow these are large but very effective for holding up blankets for den making and are easy to use. My daughter is 7 and still likes to make a den when the world gets too busy and loud where she can quietly sit read and colour. These have stopped the frustration when the much loved blankets fall to the ground when just balanced and can be held around anything as the peg opens wide we've had them pegged to the bed, dolls house, shelf and large dining room chairs with ease. I wish I'd found them earlier for her and so wish I'd had them as a child making dens would have been so much better!

These pegs have been by far the most popular toy of our Christmas, being used for picking up, building, attaching to things, being taken apart and put back together. Will also be perfect for dens as my little one gets bigger (and more capable of leaving them pegged to something for more than 30 seconds!). A great hit straight out of the packet.
