Patagonia Atom Tote Backpack 20L - High Hopes Geo / Forge Grey

A fab smaller fitting backpack that still packs a punch. It’s Fair Trade Certified™ sewn, has a 100% recycled polyester body and is just as well performing on the hills as it is in the office. Bright and bold, this perfectly designed bag goes the extra mile for you and the planet.

The Patagonia Atom Tote Pack, 20L in High Hopes Geo/Forge Grey is a smaller fitting rucksack with a 16-inch torso length which is great for smaller bodies or just for those who want a smaller pack. It has a funky retro geometric print pattern on a blue-grey base on the main body and upper straps, with plain blue-grey sides, base and top straps, accents on the zip, tote handles and Patagonia logo down the front. It has a main compartment with a removable padded laptop sleeve big enough to fit a 13-inch laptop, with a zipped pocket for small desk items, a front stash pocket for smaller items to keep them close by, a hydration hanger and pass through, a stretch mesh pocket on either side great for reusable bottles and a clip at the base for your bike light. The top straps clip together with a snapper meaning you can carry this pack in your hand as well as on your shoulders too.

This great little eco rucksack is not only user friendly, but it’s planet friendly too using a large amount of recycled polyester and nylon in its creation. The material is water repellant too, to help stand up to all the elements.

All fabrics, spacer mesh and static mesh are 100% recycled (stretch mesh is 84% recycled), body has a PFC-free DWR finish (durable water repellent coating that does not contain perfluorinated chemicals); pack volume is 20 litres

    • Removable padded sleeve fits laptops up to 13" and has a secure zippered pocket to hold pens, cords and other desktop items to ease transitions from work to play
    • Hydration hanger, pass-through access and breathable back panel are as ready for the trail as the daily commute
    • Front stash pocket holds small items and keeps valuable close at hand
    • Bike-light clipping point at base of pack
    • 16” torso length fits a shorter body, or can simply be used as a smaller pack (the “Atom Fit”)
    • Fair Trade Certified™ sewn, which means the people who made it earned a premium for their labour

Materials: Body: 7.3-oz 400-denier 100% post consumer recycled polyester with a PU coating and a PFC-free DWR finish (durable water repellent coating that does not contain perfluorinated chemicals). Lining: 3-oz 200-denier 100% recycled polyester with a PU coating. Back panel and shoulder straps: 8-oz 100% recycled polyester spacer mesh. We're proud to be stocking Patagonia at Babipur, the pioneers of responsible business practices! Patagonia were one of the earliest adopters of organic cotton recognising the damage that pesticides had on the earth and making the switch back in 1994. A core value is to make the very best quality product because better products last longer and the longer products last the less that have to be made. Materials and manufacturing are carefully considered to ensure minimal impact from creation through to disposal.

Patagonia's continued efforts to reduce and even reverse the impacts of commercial activities is awe-inspiring. Investment in environmental causes and activism, sourcing of reused, recycled and low impact materials, fair trade certifications and initiatives to help other companies achieve higher sustainability levels, Patagonia lead the way. Not satisfied with pushing for change within their own industry Patagonia have begun a food division looking to change farming practices for the better too. Now a global brand using their increased influence for the greater good and still independently owned.
