I absolutely love this bag! Plenty of space, I did remove the laptop section as I don't need it. The side pockets are big enough too. I put my 1 litre nalgene bottle and phone in 1 side. Very comfortable. Enough space for a days hiking.

I absolutely love this backpack. I'm actually using it instead of a nappy changing bag because I find that changing bags are big and bulky and this bag isn't bulky at all. There are three main pockets which are very useful to separate different things I carry on a daily basis. And two bottle side pockets which are very roomy. I've found the bag to be very well made and sturdy.
It came with a laptop bag inside (not sure what the correct term is) which is an added bonus

Purchased the wrong style backpack for my daughter for Christmas she wanted this one, the lovely Ann helped me out. I sent the other back & got this one & my daughter loves it, she’s gone back to work after maternity leave & this holds everything she needs including her lap top. Wonderfully designed, so many sections and pockets - a day out with a seven year old with uncertain weather means carrying emergency cheese sandwiches, coats, and the rest. I still have plenty of room but the compression straps also mean the bag doesn't look too enormous on me at 5'4'. I intend to also use this as my work bag, removing the laptop sleeve or putting it in depending on the day, this was one of the central appeals. I hate switching everything between bags constantly. The only slight dissapointment is the colour of the interior on this, the patterned version. I had assumed, as the pictured laptop sleeve is the sort of petrol blue that accents the exterior of the bag, that this is what the inside of the bag would look like. Unfortunately it is actually a very light green, which is less practical as it will show every scuff, ink stain etc. Over the years. It doesn't matter overly, but in the spirit of constructive feedback...maybe photos of the laptop sleeve in the colourway that comes with the bag would be a good idea in future, along with photos of the interior of the bag. Babipur have a great buying team, never dissapointed at any level and I know I can come here for products that have been expertly selected.

It's very lightweight for its size. I have a big frugi backpack and this Patagonia one is much lighter. The laptop sleeve is bulky but I like all the zips and compartments in it, I have taken it out because I need more space for massive amounts of stuff I need to carry for a day out with my 4 kids.
It's comfortable on my back even when rammed full. I absolutely love the pattern. The side pockets are stretchy and easily fit KKs in. I'm so glad I took the plunge and bought this bag because it had been in and out of my basket many many times
