The Story Of The Root Children  - Children's Book by Sibylle von Olfers

Follow the Root Children through the seasons with this classic children's picture book by Sibylle von Olfers.

Fast asleep underground, the Root Children wait for spring, when Mother Nature wakes them up. After their long winter's rest, the Root Children get to work with new dresses to sew and beetles and bugs to be cleaned and freshly painted. In the summer the Root Children are free to play and explore in the fields and meadows before the chill of autumn drives them back underground to their cosy beds.

This classic Waldorf story has been loved for generations, with magical illustrations of little folk, characterful creatures and cheerful flowers.

The Story Of The Root Children is a collectable picture book faithfully reproducing Sibylle von Olfers' classic art nouveau illustrations. First printed in 1906, this new edition features a unique hand-crafted design, premium-quality paper, gold foil signature and a luxurious cloth spine.
