Rice Bran Wax Art Crayons

Rice Bran is derived by milling brown rice and scraping the bran layer from its surface. The bran is further separated into rice bran oil and rice bran wax. This wax is then used by Kitpas for crayons, rather than being discarded.

Making these crayons from rice bran wax has great environmental benefits throughout their lifespan. Rice bran crayons are free from petroleum and are much safer for children, they help to eliminate food waste during milling and require less heat to be manufactured than paraffin wax, meaning workers enjoy more comfortable working conditions.
