From toddler to teen, the Little Green Sheep Natural Junior Single Mattress offers the support they need as they grow and transition from a cot to a standard single bed. 

Designed specifically with your growing child in mind, this Junior Single Mattress is made from natural, hypo-allergenic materials, including coconut coir, wool and a soft cotton herringbone outer to provide the perfect support and comfort for your child. We recommend using a waterproof mattress protector to keep your mattress in the best condition.

The Core

Created from coconut fibres blended with natural latex, the mattress core acts like thousands of tiny springs to create a firm surface as recommended by safe sleep experts. This reduces pressure points and dipping risk, forming the perfect base for a sound sleep. 

Natural Latex Layer

This acts as a memory foam layer, made from natural latex from the Hevea tree. The latex layer is composed of natural latex (60%), derived from the hevea tree and synthetic latex (40%), which is infused with natural mineral graphite to provide flame retardant properties - it's this graphite that gives the layer its grey tone. Working with the coconut coir core, it provides progressive support for your growing child. Place the mattress label side up on the bed.

The Lining

Wrapped around the core is a layer of soft natural wool. This has a host of natural superpowers to support your baby's sleep. It is naturally hypo-allergenic, temperature regulating, and forms a natural defence against dust mites. Natural wool has excellent breathability and natural fire retardant properties, meaning that Little Green Sheep mattresses pass the UK and European Fire Regulation Tests without the need for any chemical fire retardant sprays.

The Cover 

A soft and breathable luxury Herringbone cotton cover securely holds this mattress together, providing a comfortable and super soft surface for your baby to sleep on.

Care:

• A waterproof mattress protector is required. We recommend using a Little Green Sheep breathable 100% waterproof mattress protector to keep your mattress in the best possible condition, protecting your mattress from accidents and spillages.
• Non-removable outer cover, sponge clean only. If the mattress and bed frame are sponge cleaned, you MUST ensure they have been allowed to air dry fully before use.
• Little Green Sheep mattresses are not suitable for use with a sensor pad or sleep aids.
