Grapat Nins® of the Winter Seasonal Play Set
This Grapat Winter wooden toy seasonal set includes 3 Nins®, 3 Nins® with top hats, 3 mates (cups), 9 rings and 9 coins.
Nature is a colourful album of images and with each changing of the seasons comes a new array of colours. This Grapat seasonal set comes in icy blues, white and violets signalling the frost of winter. Nins, mates, rings and coins can be used in all sorts of creative games that children love to create. Nins can jump into the mates or hide in a stack of rings.
These classic Waldorf style peg dolls are always a hit with children for open-ended play, and make a fantasic play resource for early years settings. Team up with other Grapat Seasonal sets to represent and bring to life the wonders of the four seasons.
Recommended for 12+ months. Nins® measure 6cm in height, mates measure 5cm high and coins and rings have a 5cm diameter. Grapat toys are hand made using natural wood and water based stain. Colours and wood grains vary as does life itself. Over time wood can wear with play.

My little boy loves this set. He plays with it daily, talking about the "men" with the hats and the "men" without hats and loves to post the rings and coins in his permanence box (or his ukulele!) It also made for great additions to a 'snail and the whale' invitation to play
We bought this set for our eldest's first Christmas gift (five years ago!). It was a hit from the outset. There is such a lot of play to be got from these simple objects. Hiding the Nins inside the cups or rings, hanging the rings onto something else (we used a mug tree!), stacking the coins etc. Five years on and the Nins in particular are still having adventures in small world play. The Nins have also served well as teething toys and go in the mouth of every visiting baby (and have held up well!).
This was our first venture into Grapat and we haven't looked back! Perfect for little ones as the pieces are big enough not to be choking hazards. Love how open ended these are - our babies have stacked them, put the nins in and out of the cups, posted them (through the stair gates!), older children have used them in builds, in small world play, as ingredients for 'soup'...etc etc you name it. I have enjoyed getting different sets out to play with as the seasons have changed. And, as with all Grapat, beautifully made.
One of my first Grapat purchases & we all love it. It encourages open ended play whether we’re creating another universe or simply posting them through the Grapat Permanence Box. Both my boys (4 and 1) play with them in many different ways. They’re such great fun & I can see it being really good for teaching colours, sizes, balancing to my youngest etc.
Brought for my granddaughters 1st birthday as this was my daughter’s favourite when she was 1. My daughter is now 5 and still plays with her set, after 4 years of play it’s still in great condition so the set is definitely hard wearing.

Here at Babipur we aim to despatch your orders quickly using Royal Mail, Parcelforce, GLS and other couriers. We pack orders Monday to Saturday, if you need an express delivery option we recommend ordering before 1pm for next working day delivery. Tracking details will be sent to you by email or text.
Returns
If something isn't as expected, doesn't fit, or it's simply not right for you, just return it to us within 60 days of delivery for a no quibble refund. We do ask that items are returned in unused condition if you've simply changed your mind. If you have a faulty or damaged item please get in touch, return it to us for a refund or replacement and we'll cover the return costs.
