Kraul Mirror Box Kit - Kids STEM Science
The Kraul Mirror Box is a learning and experimentation kit, featuring two mirrors, a flexible mirror, a red wooden peg doll and a blown glass sphere with a mirrored surface. A detailed booklet with experiments is included, inspiring hands-on science exploration.
The small glass sphere is approximately 4cm in diameter, with a reflective mirrored surface and a small tip that children can gently hold between their fingers. By placing the small mirror ball inside a box made from the three mirrors, children can see themselves and the room around them reflected as a miniature world. The curved surface of the ball flips images upside down, stretches shapes, and wraps the whole room into one tiny reflective view. This set encourages open-ended experimentation as children move objects around the ball and mirrors, and discover how reflections shift and change.
Use the flexible mirror to see how shapes or faces stretch and compress, making upside-down heads and funny faces. Mirror angles can be used to make simple kaleidoscope patterns with small objects to explore symmetrical designs. These playful distortions spark curiosity and support early STEM learning through observation, questioning, and discovery.
This toy supports sensory play by engaging the sense of sight and encouraging calm, focused observation. It also supports the positioning schema, as children naturally arrange objects around the ball and mirror and experiment with placement and perspective. Here at Babipur we aim to despatch your orders quickly using Royal Mail, Parcelforce, GLS and other couriers. We pack orders Monday to Saturday, if you need an express delivery option we recommend ordering before 1pm for next working day delivery. Tracking details will be sent to you by email or text.
Returns
If something isn't as expected, doesn't fit, or it's simply not right for you, just return it to us within 60 days of delivery for a no quibble refund. We do ask that items are returned in unused condition if you've simply changed your mind. If you have a faulty or damaged item please get in touch, return it to us for a refund or replacement and we'll cover the return costs.
