The origins of the Pikler triangle climbing frame come from Emmi Pikler a Hungarian Peadiatrician who pioneered theories on child development in the 1930/40s. Centered around a respectful relationship between infant and parent as well as natural progression of motor development through free movement and play. Emmi Pikler believed it was important to offer children the opportunities to move naturally according to their inherent ability.

Pretty awesome!

We gave our little one her Triclimb for Christmas at 10 months and she skirted around it for a couple months before she tried to climb. It really helped her get steadier on her feet and was fab for making tunnels. We added the Miri in the summer and it got so much more play! It makes an ace den which is perfect for cosying in and reading stories.

It's a beautiful design and folds away which is handy when you have a wee house!

Good longevity

We got this when my boy was 1, he’s now 4 and still plays with it. Would recommend getting the slide to go with it. We often use sofa cushions as well to make an obstacle course. Folds away when not in use so easy to store.

Buy it as soon as you can!

Honestly, it can be used right from birth - first as a play gym if you hang things from the rungs or a sensory/light tent. Then they can use it to practice pulling themselves up on and for standing with. Then to climb. It's a really good buy. We've had ours for six years and it's still played with.

Money well spent

Don’t recommend if you have 4 kids trying to argue over it 😂 great if one or two though!

Exceptional value and quality

If anybody is on the fence about a triclimb - we got ours for Christmas 2019, it was a very big purchase but any family that asked what to get my daughter for her first Christmas to put a little money towards it so we could afford it and also so we didn't end up with lots of gifts we didn't have space for.

My daughter was 11 months when she got it and it's still used daily as she approaches 4 so the value we've had out of it definitely justified the price. The quality is excellent and even my partner and I have turns on it - it really holds weight!

Climbing, dens, ball runs, sliding, a shop counter and cafe it's super versatile for indoors and outdoors and folds down easily to store.

10/10 for us

Triclimb - Pikler Triangle

Peter and Jolene were always getting asked when they were going to stock a Pikler style climbing frame, and so after searching high and low and not finding one that met their standards, they started the journey to find a designer who could bring a modern version of the Pikler triangle to life. The origins of the Pikler triangle climbing frame come from Emmi Pikler a Hungarian Paediatrician who pioneered theories on child development in the 1930/40s. Centered around a respectful relationship between infant and parent as well as natural progression of motor development through free movement and play. Emmi Pikler believed it was important to offer children the opportunities to move naturally according to their inherent ability.

Endless Possibilities

Endless Possibilities

A classic climbing triangle with a modern twist. Its primary function is to aid climbing and encourage movement in young children but Triclimb is so much more than that. Triclimb features a wonderfully simple but Innovative design which gives it a graphical purity both when poised and ready for play or when folded for storage. An open ended developmental toy that’s not just for climbing, simultaneously encouraging play, movement and expression.
