Frugi Campfire Hooded Top - Navy Blue/Go Wild Animals

This is a gorgeous navy hoody with adorable embroided animals on it, with 6 gorgeous embroided animals,I point this out as it isn't full embroidery,Frugi has done this with several recent tops and hoodies, and it isn't always obvious which are and aren't from the picture.
The crocodile,the little white bird and all the plants/foliage are applique.I haven't washed this yet,but know the applique can crack with wear,wash and age,so personally prefer the embroidery.
Also worth noting the back of the embroidery does not have an inner covering layer of cotton,like they do with their pj's,so if you child finds tags irritating they may find this a problem,though the stitching is soft to the touch,and not any hard bits as in some previous years,where I think there may have been a glue used.
So these hoodies are soft,the stitching is soft on the inside,but not covered,and are a mix of embroidery and applique.
It is nice to see them go up to age 9 to 10 in this cute style.
These are definitely a lightweight hoody,very much t-shirt weight,so great for layering,or to keep the chill of on warmer days,but not thick,nor sweater material.
Personally prefer the older style Frugi elephants with big ears,and zebra,but that is just me.
Toddler loves the design and discussing the animals,and personally feel this is a very unisex design and colour way,which is nice.
