These twelve Grimm's Small Rainbow Balls are smaller than Grimm's standard balls but bigger than marbles and are just the right size for for ball runs. These brightly coloured balls are a perfect match for Grimm's rainbow toys in the range. This set of 12 wooden balls are great fun for children to throw, roll, catch, hide under pots and use creatively in making mandalas. Imaginative children will love to use them as pretend money and ingredients in a play kitchen, and they are great for teaching colours and how to count too. Smooth and tactile, these balls are appealing to children of all ages and Montessori followers will love how they can be played with in multiple ways.

Ethically made with solid maple wood, these Grimm's balls are coloured with a child-safe, non-toxic, water-based stain which allows the grain to show through.

Featuring toys to shake, build or pull along, Babi Pur’s range of Grimm’s toys has something for every child to fall in love with. The quality of these toys is superb and their appeal is timeless – we’re sure that they will be treasured not only by your children but by your grandchildren too.

Grimm’s Toys are inspired by the Waldorf Steiner education movement which advocates learning through thoughtful, creative play at an unhurried pace. Toys play an important part of the learning experience and Waldorf toys are made with natural materials, beautiful and simplistic – the lack of details allow children to fill in the blanks with their imaginations. They can be used in multiple ways in creative play scenarios, rather than being prescriptive. Waldorf toys are wonderfully tactile and call on children to play with them.

Grimm’s educational wooden toys are made in Europe from alder, lime, beech and maple, all sourced from sustainably managed European forests. They are made in handpicked workshops across Europe and coated with natural colours and oils by the Grimm’s team in Germany. All of the paints and lacquer used to finish your lovingly made Grimm’s toy are harmless and enhance the natural beauty of the wood, allowing the grain to shine through.

You will not believe how much these are played with!

These are so popular when people come to our house! The kids love how tactile they are and enjoy collecting them into baskets and making fun ball runs!

Good size

We previously only had the big Rainbow Balls and the smaller marbles. These are actually the perfect size for more delicate and complex marble runs, which we are starting to venture into. Great value also!

Excellent choice for ball runs

We bought these balls as well as the pastel set for colour sorting using the Grimms tray, ball runs using the Tri climb, and especially for use with our magic wood marble tree. They are the perfect size balls, and we adore the selection of colours in the pot.
