Such a fun read!

What an adventure!
We absolutely loved this book, Nimesh’s imagination had us gripped on every page.. from sharks in the corridors.. to the North Pole!!
This book was not short of twists and turns!

And of course… sharks in a book had Molly gripped!

Matthew loved the illustrations, we thought from the cover that it was going to be quite a scary book.. but in fact it was the exact opposite! It was so fun and full of excitement!
He loved the actual picture of his mum and dad on the wall - such a lovely touch.
And we love a book that switches from landscape to portrait! So fun!

A fabulously imaginative tale

This book is full of imagination. Nimesh creates stories out of ordinary situations like walking down the corridor or crossing the road and expands them into exciting adventures.

It's a quick read with an interesting, vibrant illustration style with lots to see on each page. We often create stories as we're walking places in a very similar way to Nimesh so my kids loved reading this. Our favourite page was the Princess in the garden

Beautiful book

We loved this book. I really enjoyed that it was inclusive and the illustrations are beautiful. My eldest liked that it took everyday situations and settings and, through Nimesh's imagination, made them magical. Perfect for my 5 year old but my almost 9 year old listened in when we first read it.

Lovely read prompting discussion

This is a lovely book about a boy taking his full surroundings and imagining something more exciting. We loved the illustrations which were beautiful and really original and I liked that it wasn’t your standard white family as the main characters. I wanted to read this book because the description reminded me of my 6 year old who has a wild imagination. When I asked for his review he said he felt he wanted more detail and imagery around the adventures Nimesh imagined and when there wasn’t that it meant that the book was quite short. However, I liked that then it prompted us to discuss what my son thinks Nimesh would do on that adventure or what things he would imagine - something we don’t always get to do when bedtime becomes seemingly endless! All in all a lovely read

Fun, imaginative story. Beautiful illustrations

Nimesh the Adventurer is about a boy with a imagination that takes him on many adventures from school to meeting a dragon, to swimming at the bottom of the ocean and even meeting some pirates on a ship!
An invisible narrator asks Nimesh where he is going and Nimesh replies with surprising alternatives!
Nimesh is brave and strong and makes the normal into something exciting! We didn’t expect a school corridor to be full of sharks!
My daughter and I were enchanted by Nimesh and his big imagination. We couldn’t wait to hear what he would imagine next!
The illustrations are so enchanting. We really liked the mix of digital collage and bold illustration which depicts the beautiful adventures of Nimesh so well.
The book encourages children to use their imagination to take them on exciting adventures and be bold, imaginative and strong just like Nimesh.
I sometimes struggled to understand which character was speaking at times but really enjoyed the story! An interesting alternative narration!
I'd recommend for ages 4 plus
