These Patagonia Women's Straight Fit Jeans are a midweight, everyday high rise jean with five pockets and a classic blue denim colour.

Made in Sri Lanka with a blend of Regenrative Organic Certified Pilot cotton (64%,) recycled cotton (35%) and spandex cotton (1%,) these jeans are dyed using an innovative foam process that is eco-conscious and Fair Trade Certified. This process reduces water usage by 75% and creates a gentle blue shade that gently fades over time. The straight fit is designed for an elongating look, with a waistband that contours naturally to the body and keeps a secure fit. These can be worn very easily all day long with a range of outfits.

The 5-pocket design gives a classic jean look, with nickel shank-button closures, brass zip fly, copper rivets and double-needle belt loops. Two large pockets on the front and pack, and a small coin pocket will provide plenty of room to hold your day-to-day items when you're on the move.

Working with over 150 farms in India, Patagonia are piloting regenerative cotton in their new clothing range. Regenerative farming methods aim to rehabilitate soil, respect animal welfare and improve the lives of farmers. Implementing techniques like 'pollinator strips' and 'trap crops' naturally attracts bees and butterflies, and diverts pests away. These areas of farmland are very biodiverse and generate more nutrient-dense soil through photosynthesis and the reduction of tillage, overgrazing and churning.

We're proud to be stocking patagonia at Babipur, the pioneers of responsible business practices! Patagonia were one of the earliest adopters of organic cotton recognising the damage that pesticides had on the earth and making the switch back in 1994. A core value is to make the very best quality product because better products last longer and the longer products last the less that have to be made. Materials and manufacturing are carefully considered to ensure minimal impact from creation through to disposal.

Patagonia's continued efforts to reduce and even reverse the impacts of commercial activities is awe-inspiring. Investment in environmental causes and activism, sourcing of reused, recycled and low impact materials, fair trade certifications and initiatives to help other companies achieve higher sustainability levels, Patagonia lead the way. Not satisfied with pushing for change within their own industry Patagonia have begun a food division looking to change farming practices for the better too. Now a global brand using their increased influence for the greater good and still independently owned.

Great Quality

My first pair of jeans from Patagonia and they are really great quality - proper thick, stiff denim that will last for years.

The only downside for me is that the cut would probably fit a pear shape better. I'm more apple shaped with straighter hips/flat bum and they stick out a bit weirdly on the outer thigh, so if this is you I might go for a different style.
