Tegu 42 Piece Set - Blues

Get little ones thinking and make their ideas a reality in model form, with this 42 piece Tegu set in 3 shades of blue. The 9 different shapes includes 4 wheels, so you can create entire scenes complete with vehicles, or one huge construction.

The powerful magnets within each wooden block will encourage children (and adults) to keep thinking of new possibilities - especially once they discover they can defy gravity and or even use the repelling force of magnets to make the blocks chase each other!

This open-ended nature of play puts a great twist on the classic Montessori building block, as well as introducing children of all ages to the fascination behind science as they naturally ask questions about the magnets inside. Younger children can start by developing their fine motor skills, as they learn to stack side by side or create tall towers. The range of shapes within this set introduces younger children to basic shapes, and older children to more complicated shapes such as the parallelogram. An interest in engineering and architecture will automatically be investigated - although your child will just calling it playing and building!

As well as feeding a child's natural curiosity, Tegu magnetic blocks also spark children's creativity and imagination as they incorporate other toys and models to create fantastic story-telling scenes, from homes to space stations to jungles, garages and more.

A wonderful Montessori toy, great for home educators to help children discover and love maths, physics and fractions, problem-solving through play.

The blues set features 3 different shades of blue, as well as natural blocks, and is manufactured in the independent toy factory in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
